How does hair thickening using scalp micropigmentation work? Scalp micropigmentation conceals thinning patches on your head right down to the tiniest detail. We use a needle to apply dots of pigment into your scalp. These dots give your hair a fuller look. The end result looks totally natural, and no other care products or treatments are needed. The dots of pigment are so tiny that you can hardly see them with the naked eye. Our treatment is always individually tailored to you and matched exactly to your hair type, whether you have black, blonde, brown or grey hair. It’s a completely harmless substance which doesn’t cause any allergic reactions. Hair thickening using scalp micropigmentation also causes little to no pain. It doesn’t leave any scars and cannot harm your hair roots. The needle only ever penetrates between 0.6 mm and 1 mm into your scalp, so it doesn’t reach sensitive areas such as your hair roots. These are found about 3 to 4 mm deep. Your scalp won’t bleed, either – after the sessions it will usually just be slightly red for up to a day, and you’ll be fine to go out and about.
How long does hair thickening using scalp micropigmentation take?

Depending on how dense you want your micropigmentation to be, you’ll need around three to four sessions. A session lasts one to three hours.
